Air Conditioner - B1209 Intake Potentiometer Short (High) - Component Inspection

Component Inspection

Check intake actuator.
1. Check actuator motor
(1) Ignition "OFF".
(2) Disconnect intake actuator.
(3) Connect (+) terminal of battery to terminal 3 of intake actuator and (-) terminal to terminal 4
(4) Verify that the actuator operates to the Rec position
(5) Verify that the actuator operates to the Fre position with reverse connecting. ((+) to 4 and (-) to 3)




(6) Dose the actuator work properly?





2. Check actuator potentiometer
(1) Ignition "ON".
(2) Connect intake actuator.
(3) Measure voltage between terminal "5" and "6"of actuator while operating the intake switch.

Specification : Refer the specifications in fig 3)

(4) Is the measured voltage within specifications in fig 3)?
