Repair Procedures

Replacement

1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.

Tightening torque :
4.0 - 6.0N.m (0.4 - 0.6kgf.m, 3.0 - 4.4lb-ft)





2. Disconnect the starter cable (A) from the B terminal on the solenoid, and the connector (B) from the S terminal.
3. Loosen the starter mounting bolts and then remove the starter.

Tightening torque :
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft)





4. Installation is reverse order of removal.
