Description:
This bulletin provides information related to a recall on some 2010 MY TUCSON (LM) vehicles to replace the rear reflectors. The reflecting performance of rear reflectors may decrease by improper rear reflector lens.

Service Procedure:





1. Verify that the vehicle has an open Recall 101 by accessing the "Warranty Vehicle Information in WEBDCS.

Locate the rear reflectors.





2. Remove the rear combination lamp mounting screws (LH/RH).





3. Push/pull the rear combination lamp rearward and remove it (LH/RH).





4. Disconnect the rear combination lamp connector and remove the rear combination lamp (LH/RH).





5. Remove the rear bumper upper screw and clips (LH/RH).





6. Remove the rear bumper cover mounting screw and clips (LH/RH).





7. Remove the bumper mounting bolts (LH/RH).





8. Pull out the rear bumper end portion (LH/RH).





9. Pull the bumper gently rearward and place it on clean fabric.





10. Remove the rear bumper rail by removing 5 fasteners.





11. Remove the screw from the reflector on each side (LH/RH).





12. Remove the reflectors by squeezing the clip.





13. Pull the rear reflectors out of the rear bumper (LH/RH).





14. Install new reflectors (LH/RH).

Reinstall all other removed components in reverse order of their removal.
