General Description

The HCU uses Engine Clutch Pressure Sensor so that HCU can control Engine Clutch as ON/OFF/SLIP. With this control, The HCU can change mode EV and HEV vise verse. In case that Pressure Sensor is faulty, there is a possibility which makes bad driveability (Shock, Jerk etc.) due to hydraulic pressure characteristics when temperature is lower than a sub-zero or very low temperature.

DTC Description

The HCU sets DTC P0841 when the HCU detects pressure under the condition which hydraulic pressure is not generated.
