General Description

Torque sensor has a function to sense a driver's steering direction.
A driver turns a steering wheel -> Torsion bar is twistled -> Magnet turns -> Magnetic field changes -> Voltage comes : The EPS CM senses it's steering through this procedures. The EPS(MDPS) CM uses the sensed torque signals and calculates it's assist value for motor. And it controls it's motor.

DTC Description

If there is an error in sensor's power supply circuit, the EPS ECU sets DTC C1112.
