Repair Procedures

Removal

1. Remove the seat back cover and cushion cover.

2. Remove the driver / assist seat back heater (A) and cushion heater (B).










Installation

1. Install the driver / assist seat back and cushion heater.

Inspection

First Seat Heater
1. Check for continuity and measure the resistance between terminals as below.










Standard value
Cushion :1.32Ohms ± 10% (leather), 1.76Ohms ± 10% (fabric)
Back :1.85Ohms ± 10%
Set :3.17Ohms ± 10% (leather), 3.61Ohms ± 10% (fabric)




2. Operate the seat warmer after connecting the 4P connector, and then check the thermostat by measuring the temperature of seat surface.

Standard value
High :107.6 ± 3.6°F (42 ± 2°C) (Cushion),
125.6 ± 3.6°F (52 ± 2°C) (Back)
Low :104 ± 3.6°F (40 ± 2°C) (Cushion),
114.8 ± 3.6°F (46 ± 2°C) (Back)
