Transmission Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection





Inspection

NOTE:
Refer to Input speed sensor's Removal & Installation in order to inspect the output speed sensor (SP).

CAUTION:
- Do not damage the output speed sensor (SP).
- Do not damage the terminals.

1. Connecting terminal 2 to a battery positive terminal, connect the battery negative terminal to terminal 1 through resistance of 100Ohms and ammeter.
2. Measure currency value when shaking metal shards (magnetic material) back and forthwith a top of input speed sensor (NIN) (less than 5mm).

12-16 (HIGH), 4-8 (LOW)
