Front Door Window Motor: Service and Repair

Replacement

Power Window Motor Replacement
1. Remove the front door trim.
2. Remove the front door seal.
3. Remove the front door glass.
4. Disconnect the power window motor connector (B).
5. After loosening the mounting nuts, then remove the front door power window regulator assembly (A).

Tightening torque :
3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.3 lb-ft)




6. After loosening the mounting screws, then remove the front door power window motor (A).




7. Installation is the reverse of removal.

NOTE:
- Grease should be applied to areas where there is rotational parts and springs.
- Roll the glass up and down to see if it move freely without binding.
