Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

1. Warm engine and check idle speed.
2. If using the Consult Checking System unit, set to ``THROTTLE SEN ADJ'' in ~``WORK SUPPORT MODE.'' If not using the Consult Checking System unit, connect suitable voltmeter, Fig. 1. Voltage should read 0.45-0.55 with throttle valve fully closed. If not as specified, adjust by rotating throttle sensor body.
3. If using the Consult Checking System unit, disconnect throttle sensor harness for a few seconds, then reconnect. Ensure that ``IDLE POSITION'' remains ``ON.''
