Component Testing Procedure

Fig. 210 Throttle Sensor Terminal Identification:

1. Disconnect throttle sensor harness connector.
2. Measure resistance between terminals A and B, Fig. 210.
3. Check resistance as follows:
a. Accelerator pedal completely released, resistance should be approximately 2000 ohms.
b. Accelerator pedal partially released, resistance should be 2000-10000 ohms.
c. Accelerator pedal completely depressed, resistance should be approximately 10000 ohms.
