19. A/T DOES NOT SHIFT: D3 -> D2

SYMPTOM:
The vehicle does not shift down from the 3rd to the 2nd gear.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE
1. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS
With CONSULT-II
After executing a traveling test, confirm that the self-diagnosis results indicate the following malfunctioning items:
- Direct clutch solenoid valve
- Vehicle speed sensor A/T (revolution sensor)
- Vehicle speed sensor MTR
No Tools
Execute the self-diagnosis and confirm that a malfunction is indicated in the results.
Yes or No
Yes >> Check the malfunctioning system(s). Refer to "DTC P0720 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR A/T (REVOLUTION SENSOR), "DTC P1721 VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR MTR", "DTC P1762 DIRECT CLUTCH SOLENOID VALVE".
No >>GO TO 2.
2. CHECK SYMPTOM
Check again.
OK or NG
OK >> INSPECTION END
NG >> GO TO 3.
3. CHECK TCM INSPECTION
1. Perform TCM input/output signal inspection.
2. If NG, recheck TCM pin terminals for damage or loose connection with harness connector.
OK or NG?
OK >> INSPECTION END
NG >>
1. Repair or replace damaged parts.
2. Replace the transmission assembly.
