2002 QX4; MIL "ON" WITH REAR 02 SENSOR DTC P0138/P0139/P0158/P0159/P1147/P1167

APPLIED VEHICLES:
2002 QX4 (JR50)

IF YOU CONFIRM:

An applied 2002 QX4 has the MIL "ON" and any of the following DTC's are stored in the ECM:

^ P0138 (Bank 1) H02S2 (Rear) (High Voltage Monitoring)
^ P0139 (Bank 1) H02S2 (Rear) (Response Monitoring)
^ P1147 (Bank 1) H02S2 (Rear) (Max Voltage Monitoring)
^ P0158 (Bank 2) H02S2 (Rear) (High Voltage Monitoring)
^ P0159 (Bank 2) H02S2 (Rear) (Response Monitoring)
^ P1167 (Bank 2) H0252 (Rear) (Max Voltage Monitoring)

DETERMINE IF:

^ This bulletin applies by checking the ECM Part Number. You will do this by performing steps 1-3 in the Service Procedure.

ACTIONS:

If this bulletin applies,

^ Perform ECM Reprogramming. This is required if the ECM Part Number (P/N) in the vehicle matches one of those listed under "Current ECM P/N" in Chart A under service procedure.

^ Replace the Rear Oxygen Sensor(s). This is required if ECM Reprogramming is needed.
