Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Component InspectionTHROTTLE POSITION SENSOR
1. Reconnect all harness connectors disconnected.
2. Perform EC-44, "Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning". Programming and Relearning
3. Perform EC-44, "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning". Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning
4. Turn ignition switch ON.
5. Set selector lever to D position.
6. Check voltage between ECM terminals 108 (TP sensor 1 signal), 98 (TP sensor 2 signal) and ground under the given conditions.
7. If NG, replace electric throttle control actuator and go to the next step.
8. Perform EC-44, "Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning". Programming and Relearning
9. Perform EC-44, "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning". Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning
10. Perform EC-44, "Idle Air Volume Learning". Programming and Relearning
