Cylinder head bolts torque and sequence
Follow the steps to tighten the bolts in the numerical order shown in the figure to install cylinder head
Step a : 98.1 Nm (10 kg-m, 72 ft. lbs.)
Step b : 0 Nm Loosen in the reverse order of tightening.
Step c : 44.1 Nm (4.5 kg-m, 33 ft. lbs.)
Step d : 60° degrees clockwise
Step e : 60° degrees clockwise
Head Bolt reuse/replace
Cylinder Head Bolts Diameter
^ Cylinder head bolts are tightened by plastic zone tightening method. Whenever the size difference between d1 and d2 exceeds the limit, replace the bolts with new one.
Limit (d1 - d2): 0.18 mm (0.0071 inch)
^ If reduction of diameter appears in a position other than d2, use it as d2 point

Exhaust manifold 0.3 mm (0.012 inch)
