IF YOU CONFIRM:
The vanity mirror lid on either left or right side sunvisor is loose, does not stay up, or has fallen off.
ACTION:
Replace the vanity mirror lid.
^ Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE section for repair procedure.
^ Use the part listed in the PARTS INFORMATION section.
^ Do NOT replace the sunvisor for this incident, if it should occur.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
NOTE:
This repair can be performed without removing the sunvisor.
Remove the vanity mirror lid
1. Remove the vanity mirror lamp lens (lens) as seen in Figure 1.
^ Pull up under the edge of the lens as shown in Figure 1.
NOTE:
There are four (4) snap type tabs securing the lens to the sunvisor.
2. If the lid is still in place, open the lid at the angle shown in Figure 2.
3. Pull out the right side of the lid from its mounting hinge by slightly bending it in the middle (see Figure 2).
4. After detaching the right side, open the lid at the angle shown in Figure 3.
a. Remove the lid by pulling out the left side from its mounting hinge (see Figure 3).
5. Wipe off all grease with a cotton swab or equivalent cleaning tool in and around the lid mounting pins of the visor where the lid hinges sit (no picture shown).
Install the vanity mirror lid
1. Perform the procedure of lid removal in reverse.
2. To install the lens, snap it in place (see Figure 4).
NOTE:
There are four (4) tabs that snap in (secure) the mirror.
3. Open and close the lid several times.
^ Verify proper opening / closing.
^ Verify the lid bumpers are securely attached.
^ Remove excess grease.
^ Make sure the mirror and all related parts are clean.
