Component Inspection

1.CHECK KEY SLOT ILLUMINATION
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect key slot connector.
3. Connect battery power supply to key slot terminals 5 and 6, and check the operation.

5 (BAT+) - 6 (BAT-) : Key slot illuminates

Is the inspection result normal?
YES - INSPECTION END
NO - Replace key slot. Refer to Removal and Installation.
