REMOTE START USE

IF YOUR CONFIRM:

During or after a Remote Engine Start (RES) operation:

^ The ignition switch will not respond to any input.

And

^ ELEC IGN relay and IPDM IGN relay may turn ON and OFF continuously while ACC remains OFF.

^ Brake and charge lamps may blink continuously.

^ DTCs P2103 and U1000 may be present.

ACTION:

^ Replace Body Control Module (BCM) with Part listed below in PARTS INFORMATION.

IMPORTANT:
BEFORE removing the BCM refer in the appropriate ESM to M: ELECTRICAL & POWER CONTROL, BCS - Body Control System, BCM BASIC INSPECTION to begin the procedure for BCM Replacement.
