PCM Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Block the wheels.




3. Remove the four screws attaching the console and lift the console upward to allow removal of the [1][2]PCM cover.




4. Remove the [1][2]PCM front cover by using finger pressure to push inward at the side of the cover while simultaneously pulling the cover toward the rear.




5. Remove the four screws which attach the [1][2]PCM side cover.
6. Remove the [1][2]PCM side cover.




7. Disconnect the red, white, and blue electrical connectors at the [1][2]PCM.
8. Remove the two screws in the front of the [1][2]PCM.
9. Remove the one screw at the left rear of the [1][2]PCM.
10. Pull the [1][2]PCM straight out from the dashboard.

INSTALLATION
1. Insert the [1][2]PCM into the dashboard.
- Line up the holes in front for the mounting screws.
2. Install the [1][2]PCM with two screws in the front and one screw at the left rear.
3. Plug the red, white, and blue connectors into the appropriate sockets.
4. Install the [1][2]PCM side cover.
5. Install the [1][2]PCM front cover.
6. Install the console.
7. Remove the wheel blocks.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
If the [1][2]PCM is replaced, the new PCM will need to be reprogrammed.
