Right Side Instrument Panel Rattle Noise At Start-Up Or When Shifted Into Gear

Service Information
Condition:
Some customers may comment on a right hand instrument panel rattle at start-up or when shifted into gear.
Possible Cause:
There may be an under-torqued screw in the heater case.
Correction:
Re-torque the heater case 5.5 mm headed screw/retainer.
Service Procedure
Re-torque the heater case 5.5 mm headed screw/retainer. Tighten the screw/retainer to 2 Nm (18 lb in). Refer to the photo for the screw location.
