Throttle Position Switch: Testing and Inspection
Throttle Valve Switch Testing:
1.
Disconnect throttle valve switch harness connector.
2.
Test continuity across the terminals with the accelerator pedal depressed in steps as shown on the chart.
3.
If readings are not as indicated, adjust switch and check again (refer to
ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES). Replace switch if proper readings cannot be obtained.
