Throttle Full Close Switch: Testing and Inspection
Idle Switch Testing:
1.
Disconnect idle switch vacuum hose and electrical connector.
2.
With an ohmmeter, ensure that there is no continuity between switch connector positive and negative terminals.
3.
With a hand vacuum pump, apply the specified vacuum and check that there is now continuity between the switch terminals.
4.
Replace the switch if it fails these tests.
