System Specifications

On I-Mark models, check belt tension using a Boroughs drive belt tension gauge, or equivalent. On models equipped with DOHC (Poly V Belt), belt tension should be 130-160 ft. lbs. On models less DOHC (V Belt), belt tension should be 70-110 ft. lbs.
On Amigo, Rodeo, Trooper, 1989 Impulse and 1990-92 Pickup models, apply approximately 22 lbs. finger pressure to drive belt, adjust idler pulley. Belt deflection should be 0.4 inch. On Stylus and 1990-92 Impulse models, check belt tension using a Boroughs drive belt tension gauge, or equivalent, belt tension should be 130-160 ft. lbs.
