1990-91 Trooper II (KT) models equipped with V6 engine and automatic transmission.

SERVICE INFORMATION





The diagnostic connector for the V6 A/T electronic transmission controller is incorrectly shown in the Electrical Troubleshooting Manuals (ETMs).

The "Diagnostic Data Stream" wire lead is used to read vehicle operating condition data through the Tech-I.

The "Diagnostic Enable" wire lead is used to read diagnostic codes through the "CHECK TRANS" light flash codes.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Make the pen-and-ink corrections in the referenced Electrical Troubleshooting Manuals (ETMs).
