Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Description and Operation

The standard master cylinder is equipped with a fluid level sensor located in the reservoir. This sensor will activate the red ``Brake'' lamp if a low fluid condition is detected. Once the fluid level is corrected the lamp will go out.
