F5 - Actuator Test (Engine Not Running)

CAUTION: Always put the parking brake on and block the wheels when using this test mode.

The operation of individual components can be observed by using Mode F5. Tech-1 commands the operation of the actuators, providing valuable troubleshooting information. After a mechanical or hydraulic repair, the electrical function of those components can be quickly checked.

NOTE: When the Tech-1 display has a question mark (?) you must respond by pressing yes or no. When it displays an exclamation point (!) it is telling the result of its test.
