Noisy Generator

The following causes generator noise:
- A loose drive pulley
- Loose mounting bolts
- Worn or dirty bearings
- A worn stator

Do not disassemble the generation. Separating the frames will damage the slip ring end bearing. Generator service is limited to replacement.
