NOTE: The procedure below applies to both kits.

TECH 1 OBD II/TECH 1 SERIES A OBD II Application Kit Configuration:

1. Always observe the instructions in the TECH 1 and '96 Cartridge Operator's Manual.
2. Make sure the vehicle ignition is off.
3. Install the VIM and 16/24 PIN VIM DLC ADAPTER CABLE between the TECH 1 and Data Link Connector (DLC).

ISUZU '96 CARTRIDGE:

CAUTION: When mounting and removing cartridge, make sure that no power is supplied to TECH 1. Press the detents on the outside of the cartridge to unlock it.

OPERATING PROCEDURE FOR TECH 1
After connecting with the vehicle, turn the ignition key ON and follow the tool manufacturers instructions for use.
