Power Locks: Description and Operation

The door lock system consists of door lock switch and door lock actuator. Door lock switch on driver's side can actuate the door lock mechanism.
Licking or unlocking the lock switch on the driver side causes the door lock mechanism to be locked or unlocked. At this time, the current flows for approx.1 second from door lock switch on driver's side to door lock actuator to run the motor.
