Windshield Washer Pump: Service and Repair

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the washer solvent from the solvent container.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
3. Disconnect the hose from the washer pump.




4. Remove the screw and the solvent container from the vehicle.




5. Remove the washer pump and grommet from the solvent container.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the washer pump and grommet onto the solvent container.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Note in Cautions and Notes.




2. Install the solvent container onto the vehicle with the screw.

Tighten
Tighten the screw to 3 N.m (27 lb in).




3. Connect the hose to the washer pump.
4. Connect the electrical connector to the washer pump.
5. Refill the washer solvent container with washer solvent.
