Trunk Lamp: Description and Operation

Battery voltage is applied at all times through the CB-5 DOME LIGHT fuse to the dome, map, courtesy, and luggage room lights.

Luggage Room Light
With the hatch gate open (Rodeo) or the tailgate open (Amigo) and the luggage room light switch in the DOOR position, a ground path is provided by the closed hatch gate switch (Rodeo) or the tailgate switch (Amigo) and the luggage room light goes on. With the hatch gate closed, the luggage room light can be turned on by turning the luggage room light switch to ON.
