ANTI-THEFT & KEYLESS ENTRY CONTROLLER

REMOVAL




1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

2. Remove the glove box from the instrument panel assembly (1).
- Refer to the Instrument Panel Assembly in Body Structure.

3. Remove the anti-theft & keyless entry controller (2).
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove two fixing screws.

INSTALLATION
To install, follow the removal steps in the reverse order.

REPLACEMENT

1. Remove and install the control unit.
- Refer to Anti-theft & Keyless Entry Control Unit Removal and Installation.

2. Register ID code.
- Refer to Anti-Theft Stamping Label/Plate Location in General Information - Rodeo or Anti-Theft Stamping Label/Plate Location in General Information - Rodeo Sport.

3. Check that the keyless entry system works normally.
