Service Procedure

1. Park and secure the vehicle. Record the radio settings.

2. Disconnect the Battery Ground Cable.





3. Remove the Glove Box. (Figure 1)

4. Disconnect the Map Light Timer Connector.











5. Attach the Brown wire of the resistor to the Red wire of the Map Light Timer connector. (Figures 3, 5 and 7)

6. Disconnect the Alarm and Relay Control Unit connector.





7. Attach the Red wire of the resistor to the Red and White wire of the Alarm and Relay Control Unit connector. (Figures 3, 6 and 7)

8. Reinstall both Map Light connector and Alarm and Relay Control Unit connector.








9. Install the Resistor Unit and Bracket under the Alarm and Relay Control Unit. (Figures 2 and 4)

10. Install the Glove Box.

11. Connect the Battery Ground Cable and enter the radio settings.








12. Verify that the Interior Mirror/Map Light turn OFF when the Dome Lamp Switch is in the OFF position. (Figures 8 and 9)
