Service Information
Before installing Fog Light Kit (part number: 2-90812-1-00-0) on the AXIOM or when replacing a Fog Lamp assembly (part number 2-90812-101-0), the Fog Light Pigtail Harness with new rubber boot (part number 2-90812-103-0) or the Fog Lamp Bulb (part number: 8-94458-282-0), the following procedure is to be followed in order to reduce the potential for moisture intrusion in the lamp assembly:
1. Partially remove the Fog Light Boot from the rear of the light assembly. Currently the Boot vent is pointing downward at the 6 o'clock position (Figure 1).
2. Adjust the position of the vent so its at the 4 o'clock position (Figure 2).
3. Re-attach Boot to Fog Light.
4. Adjust the boot on the remaining Fog Light Assembly.
