Use engine oil labeled SG or SF of correct viscosity for existing ambient temperatures as follows:

Areas where ambient temperatures of 90°F (32°C) and higher are regularly encountered.
SAE 15W-40, 20W-40, 20W-50
Other areas
SAE 5W-30
