Rearview Mirror Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Use a flat-bladed tool in order to remove the wire connector (1) from the mirror (2), if equipped.
2. Using a Torx (R) screwdriver, loosen the set screw that holds the mirror base to the windshield button.




3. Slide the mirror off of the support.

Installation Procedure




1. Slide the mirror onto the support.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the set screw.

Tighten the set screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).




3. Connect the electrical connector (1), if equipped.
