Hinge Replacement - Endgate Lower - Endgate Side

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the end gate from the vehicle.




2. Remove the bolts retaining the hinge to the end gate.
3. Remove the hinge from the end gate.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the hinge to the end gate.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the bolts retaining the hinge to the end gate.

1. Tighten the lower forward bolt (2) to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft).
2. Tighten the lower rear bolt (1) to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft),

3. Install the end gate to the vehicle.
