Affected Vehicles:
2003-2004 Isuzu Ascender (US) with 5.3L V8 Engine (VIN P).
Service Information
Condition:
Some customers may comment that the SES light is on. Diagnosis may indicate that DTC P0483 has set.
Possible Cause:
The diagnostic calibration in the PCM may allow the DTC P0483 to set improperly.
Correction:
Reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with a new service calibration released with ITCS CD version 34 or newer.
Service Procedure
Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) in the Service Manual. As always, make sure your TECH2(R) is updated with the latest software version.
