Removal Procedure





1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove the two bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the transmission.
3. Remove the transmission heat shield from the transmission.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the transmission heat shield to the transmission.

2. Install the two bolts securing the transmission heat shield to the transmission.
Tighten the bolts to 17 Nm (13 ft. lbs.).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Lower the vehicle.
