Cooling System - Add Sealant
When Antifreeze is Changed

ISSUE:

Cooling system antifreeze leaks.


ACTION:

Whenever the antifreeze is changed, add Bar's Leaks Concentrate tablets (JAG 138) using the following procedure:

Crush the tablets, then add them to the header tank.

Sedans - use one 39 gram package of tablets.

XJS - use two 39 gram packages of tablets.

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

Changing antifreeze and adding sealant are normal cooling system maintenance operations and are not covered by the vehicle warranty.

Bar's Leaks packages are covered by warranty if the antifreeze is changed as part of a warranty repair.
