Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

THROTTLE POTENTIOMETER

RENEW

Disconnect the battery earth lead.

Remove the throttle cross-rods from the throttle pulley. Disconnect the throttle potentiometer in-line cable connector.

Remove the nuts and washers securing the throttle pulley plate to the throttle pedestal and lift the plate clear.

Remove the screws securing the potentiometer and lift the potentiometer clear.

To refit new potentiometer reverse the above operations.
