Speedometer Identification

There are two types of speedometers avaliable for the XJS series. One is the conventional cable driven analog style. The other is an electronic motor driven analog type.

The mechanical cable driven type can be identified by the "SN" prefix at the beginning of the identification number at the bottom of the speedometer face.

The electronic motor driven style has "ES" as a identification number prefix. It is also located at the bottom of the speedometer face.
