Starter Motor: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable. Raise and support vehicle.
2.
Remove right exhaust pipe from over-axle pipe forward.
3.
Remove right front catalytic converter assembly for access.
4.
Remove heat shield from starter.
5.
Disconnect starter leads from solenoid.
6.
Loosen starter mounting bolts, then remove
starter motor.
7.
Reverse procedure to install.
