Passenger Doors-Lock Motors

DOOR LOCK MOTOR

1. Remove door trim panel.
2. Close window and disconnect motor harness from door harness.

Note: Remove plastic strap from around harness, if necessary, for access.

3. Remove two screws securing lock motor to bracket on the inner door rail and release the linkage piece from unit.
4. Remove motor from door.
5. Remove two screws securing motor to mounting bracket and remove motor.
6. Fit new motor to bracket and refit to door. Do not fully tighten screws at this time.
7. Use a screwdriver or punch to set door latch in closed position.

Right front door

Front Lock Switch/Motor:

8. Move lock motor toward door lock and take up all free movement. Tighten screws.

Rear doors

Rear Lock Motor:

9. Move lock motor away from lock and take up all free movement. Tighten screws.
9. Check lock operation from driver's door.
