Dealers are advised that all repairs to Cruise Control Testers, PIN BLT 5020, will be carried out by Lucas Industries. Testers for repair should be directed to:

A label identifying the dealership and the problem with that unit must be attached to the tester.
Technicians must be made aware of the fact that Cruise Control Testers will be damaged if circuit tests are carried out with system fuses higher than the specified rating.
Before commencing a test on the cruise control system, the following fuses should be checked for the correct rating:
XJ6 Fuse 12 - Main Box - 2 amp GFS 2
XJ-S Fuse 17 - Auxilliary Box - 3 amp GFS 3
A charge of $35.00 will be made for each tester repaired.
