Beginning with VIN 605856, 1990 MY Sedan Range vehicles incorporate a revised A/C sensor design using a motorized aspiration system to improve the sensor response time and reduce temperature overshoot.


NOTE: The following VIN's also incorporate this specification: VIN 601561, VIN 601567, VIN 601977.


Introduced in conjunction with the new sensor assembly is a new microprocessor providing improved blend characteristics and a change to the center vent operation (providing a single stage action).

Modifications were also made to the vacuum system affecting the water valve vacuum solenoid, (fig. 1), and the center vent actuator red and black vacuum lines, which are now linked together, (fig. 2).
