EGR Control Solenoid: Description and Operation
EGR Solenoid Vacuum Valve:
The
EGR solenoid vacuum valve is located at the rear of the intake manifold. When activated by the ECM the normally closed solenoid valve opens to apply intake manifold vacuum to the
EGR valve. The resistance of the solenoid coil is approximately
45 ohms.
