PCV Orifice: Service and Repair

Part Throttle Orifice Control Housing:

CAUTION: This operation must only be performed on a cold or cool engine.

NOTE: Number references in text specify numbered components in image.

1. To relieve cooling system pressure, carefully remove and replace pressure cap from remote header tank.
2. Loosen hose clamp (1) and disconnect breather hose from housing.
3. Remove bolts (2) and reposition housing to gain access to coolant hoses.
4. Loosen clamps and remove coolant hoses from housing. Position hoses above engine level to minimize coolant spillage.
5. Remove housing and clean gasket surfaces.
6. Reverse removal procedure to install new housing. Use a new gasket and ensure coolant is topped up to correct level.
