Upper Arm LH

Removal

1. WARNING: Do not work on or under a vehicle supported only by a jack. Always support the vehicle on safety stands.

Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the shock absorber and spring assembly.
3. Remove the engine control module (ECM).
4. Remove the LH upper suspension arm.

> Remove and discard the 2 nuts.





Installation

1. CAUTION: The final tightening of the upper arm must be carried out with the vehicle on it's wheels.

Install the upper arm.

> Install the bolts and new nuts.

2. Install the shock absorber and spring assembly.

3. CAUTION: The final tightening of the upper arm must be carried out with the vehicle on it's wheels.

Tighten the upper suspension arm nuts to 60 Nm (44 lb.ft).

4. Install the (ECM).
