Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair






Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

Removal
1 Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery Disconnect and Connect Battery Disconnect and Connect
2 Remove the intake manifold. For additional information, refer to Intake Manifold Service and Repair




3 Remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
- Remove and discard the MAP sensor O-ring seal.

Installation
1 Install is the reverse of removal.




2 Tighten to 10 Nm.
- Install a new MAP sensor O-ring seal.
