Driver air bag module remover

Removal
1 Remove the cover and disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Specifications
2 Make the SRS system safe. For additional information, refer to Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering and Repowering




3 Using the special tool remove the driver air bag module.
- Rotate the steering wheel for access to slots.
- Carefully release the 2 clips.
- Disconnect the 3 electrical connectors.

Installation
1 Install the driver air bag module.
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Carefully align and secure the clips.
2 Connect the battery ground cable and install the cover. For additional information, refer to Specifications
3 Connect WDS to the vehicle and configure a new module.
